If you disagree with any of these rules, find another server to play on!

Spam.
You're of course allowed to say/type something, but repeating it over and over again annoys the other players on the server. Use common sense so everybody can play without being bothered by this.
Punishment: Gag, kick, temporarily ban.

Whining.
Whining about everything is unnecessary and tiresome to listen to - for everybody. Stay away from the normal comments like: "my team sucks", "everybody sucks", "awp whore", etc. Whining is as meaningless as spam.
Punishment: Gag, kick, temporarily ban.

Respect the admins and the other players.
Admins are present so that you, as a player, shall have fun. We usually have a good reason if we interfere with the play. Examples of interfering may be: Turning off AWP is it becomes to dominating, altering of the teams, slapping of hardcore campers, etc. If you want to complain about anything, we have a forum, a channel on IRC: #badass.no@QuakeNet and e-mail: admin@superserver.no If you can't contribute with constructiv criticism, don't bother. Bad behavior against admins and other players will be severly punished. It is of course not accepted to pass oneself of as an admin on our servers, unless you are one.
Punishment: Longlasting gag, kick and/or temporarily ban.
Repeated violation of this rule will result in a permanently ban.

Discrimination, racism and other extremely offensive remarks.
This is not a paragraph to be taken lightly. All our admins consider violations of this paragraph as serious as cheating - if not more. If you have any problems with immigrants, homosexuals, other people's religious beliefs or their political opinions; keep it to yourself. We have a zero-tolerance policy on this area. If you decide to break this rule, you will not be warned. Your punishment is completely up to the admin's discretion, 9 out of 10 times, you will be permanently banned from all our servers. If the admin sees a reason for you to get a second chance, you should consider yourself extremely lucky.
Punishment: Tempban or permban

Nicks
Nicks that are provocative, rude, racist/discriminating or in any other way offensive will not be tolerated on our servers..
Punishment: Kick, tempban.
In extreme cases, or by repeating yourselves - permban.

Language
We expect everyone to use a language that we all understand: Norwegian, danish, swedish or english. Extended use of other languages will result in kick or tempban.

Repeated misuse of bugs in CS.
As we all know, there are bugs in CS, and exploitation of these will not be tolerated. Examples of bugs: Skywalking on de_dust, jumping through the roof on cs_assault and cs_italy, amongst others.
Punishment: Kick. A second attempt to exploit a bug will lead to a temporarily ban.

Cheating.
Cheating, no matter what kind of cheat, is not tolerated at all. Ghosting in LAN, over VT or similar functions is considered cheating. We ban cheaters in the RADAR database.
Punishment: Permanently ban and RADAR ban.

Lamejoining and wtj (winning team joining)
We do not appreciate the fact that some players always choose the team with the best chances for winning - e.g. T in Italy, CT in Dust etc. The least accepted are those who change to the winning team (wtj). We will punish this kind of behaviour.
Punishment: Slay, kick, tempban and in extreme cases permanent ban.
We expect the better players to help out by making even teams!

Whoring for stats.
Some think that camping is one of the most entertaining aspects of the game, but most people would disagree. One can often find oneself alone against 5-6 players, and then dare not to move, reload, etc, of fear of discovery. This is what we admins (and most other players) define as whoring for stats, and will be punished. If you worry about your stats, you could try "The Sims" or something similar. Or you could play on another server, that kind of behavior is not welcomed on SS/BA.
Punishment: Llama, slap, slay, kick, temporarily ban, you name it.

Microphone.
The mike is a welcomed attribution to CS, if it's used right. Yelling, playing of music, and general trashtalking leads only one way.
Punishment: Kick, time decided ban.

AFK.
If you're not going to play, you quit. It's incredibly annoying for the other players (both those on your team and those not on your team) if there is AFK'ers in a base. If you have to use the bathroom, take a smoke, or something else you know will take a couple of rounds, then you can select team again, without choosing skin. Then you will remain dead until you choose skin.
Punishment: Kick.

Basecamping.
If you're a member of the attacking team, then you should attack. Camping in your base will be punished. For a deeper explaination: If you hide in your base while the rest of your team gets licked, you will be kicked right away. If you at least don't try to complete your mission objective, but just stay put, hunting for frags, you can count on a few, friendly slaps. An eco-round or two to save enough money for a rifle is okay, but we don't want to see continous defensive play from the attacker. The same goes for CT when the bomb is planted. Unless you are two-three against ten T's, you should make a try. Remember, CS is not just about the frags, if you like that kind of gameplay, play Quake 3 Arena.
Punishment: Slap, slay, kick, temporarily ban.

General lameness.
Some think it is incredibly amusing to teamflash, block, and just generally annoy your teammates. We will have none of that on our servers. If we see it, you can count on that we will act. HE spamming is considered lame, and will not be tolerated
Punishment: Slap festivals (20-30 slaps, or until the slapper gets tired), slay, kick, temporarily ban, you name it.

REMEMBER!
If you repeat the same thing over and over, despite warnings from admins or other players, then it may lead to ban, no matter what rule you're breaking!

If you see anyone behave/play in a way that is unbecoming for these servers, feel free to post on our forum and describe the problem. We would also like if you could make a demo of the problem. Remember a screenshot of the STEAM_ID of the abuser.

These rules are also ment as a guide for our admins. The admins do however have the authority to punish as they see fit in any given situation!

These rules excist so that everyone can have fun on our servers - both normal players and admins.
